Welcome to the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Emory University! Thank you for your interest in our program. We hope that the information here is helpful to you during your application process.
Our fellowship accepts applicants trained in either emergency medicine or internal medicine. Our dynamic and well-rounded curriculum aims to prepare fellows to be experts in all aspects of critical care and we pride ourselves in the incredible diversity of pathologies that few other programs have. With the experience of rotating through a variety of medical, neurologic, cardiac, general surgical, and specialty surgical ICUs, graduates of our program have the necessary training to work in all types of ICUs.
It’s an exciting time to be here, as we currently have the president of SCCM (Dr. Greg Martin), the president of CHEST (Dr. David Schulman), and the editor of Critical Care Medicine (Dr. Tim Buchman) all at Emory. This combination of superior training, unmatched leadership in the world of critical care, and family-like atmosphere make Emory an amazing place to train.
