Why Emory EM Med Tox?
In the Emory University Medical Toxicology Fellowship, I can learn about all the branches of Medical Toxicology and how they work together to provide excellent patient care. Also, because of its partnership with the CDC and the experience of working at one of their Addiction Medicine Clinics.
Five-year Plan
Return to Puerto Rico, and help to improve Medical Toxicology education both in Medical Schools and Emergency Medicine Residencies. I would also love to establish a Medical Toxicology Consultation Service for a more direct interaction with patients during their hospital stay.
