Research Interests

Dr. McLemore’s laboratory is interested in understanding the signals that control normal myeloid differentiation and proliferation and how these are perturbed in acute myeloid leukemia. In pursuing this, his group has identified novel protein:protein interactions in acute myeloid leukemia. In particular, the McLemore laboratory has identified unique roles for Wilms Tumor protein in myeloid malignancies and AKT during normal myeloid development.
