MD Dual Degrees
Emory's dual degree programs allow medical students to pursue their interests in public and global health, bioethics, business, and research in the fields of biomedical science, microbiology, immunology, neuroscience, nutrition, and many of the arts...just to name a few.
Doctor of Physical Therapy
The Doctor of Physical Therapy has historically been one of the top physical therapy educational programs in the country. The unique design of the program fosters exceptional skills, creativity, reflectivity, and humanity while instilling self-confidence as students transform into outstanding professionals and independent practitioners.
Physical Therapy Dual Degrees
The combined DPT/MBA degree focuses on giving future physical therapists this necessary skill-set for successfully integrating medicine and business while the DPT-MPH degree will enable future physical therapists to become leaders in health care policy and impact healthcare and public health in innovative ways.
MMSc in Anesthesiology
Individuals who successfully complete this program are awarded a Master of Medical Science degree by Emory University. In June of the senior year, students take the national Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants. Following graduation and successful completion of the Certifying Examination, graduates can become integral anesthetist members of an anesthesia care team practice lead by an anesthesiologist.
MMSc in Human Genetics & Genetic Counseling
The Genetic Counseling Training Program is the first in the state of Georgia and offers a unique combination of cutting-edge coursework, extensive and varied clinical experiences, research opportunities and a program-long focus internship. Our training emphasizes skills that allow students to serve the genetic needs of the medical community today, while fostering integration of the genomic medicine advances of tomorrow.
MMSc - Physician Assistant
The program emphasizes evidence-based primary care and preventive medicine, the provision of health care to the medically underserved and utilization of information technology to achieve these goals. The Program promotes team care, patient advocacy and the delivery of primary health care for all patients.
MMSc - Physician Assistant Dual Degree
The Emory University Physician Assistant program and the Rollins School of Public Health offer one of the few dual degree programs (MMSc/MPH) in the country ensuring the highest quality preparation in both disciplines. This three-year long (9 semesters) program enables physician assistants with an MPH to take a lead in improving the health of communities around the world and manage patients in clinics and hospitals.
BMSc in Medical Imaging
Emory University's Medical Imaging Program is one of the few programs offering a baccalaureate degree in this rapidly advancing field. Graduates of the program should advance more rapidly within the profession into management, educational positions, careers as application specialists for imaging equipment, or advanced clinical practice in CT and MRI.
