Department of Pediatrics

Each year, we continue our expansion in research, with new initiatives across our research centers and research cores. Each center and core is a vibrant home for investigators where they can come together across disciplines to find new collaborators, hear from invited experts in their field, and address significant child health problems using outstanding resources.

Research Resources

K-ClubThis program is an educational forum to assist fellows and faculty with successful research grant applications, with an emphasis on K grant awards, also called Career Development Awards or CDA's. Although the emphasis is on K grants and discussions are geared towards junior faculty who are preparing a K application, discussions often center around topics that have general interest and extend to other classes and types of research grant awards including NIH R funding and foundation funding.

Whether you are a research scientist, clinical investigator, educator or clinician, the School of Medicine delivers programs and resources to assist you in expanding your professional skills and achieving your career aspirations.

Clinical Distinctions

The Clinical Distinctions (CD) designation program is designed to recognize faculty who have devoted a majority of their time and careers to providing excellence in clinical care.

Each year, we celebrate our faculty and staff during an award ceremony to recognize the incredible work they do! View this year's highlights and list of awards.
