Visiting Students

Emory's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery offers four-week clinical externships throughout the academic year for medical students to visit our competitive program to expand their Orthopaedic knowledge and experience with some of the specialty's most profound physicians.

Clinical Experience

The Emory University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery offers a five-year residency training program that satisfies the eligibility requirements of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. At present, 24 full-time Emory faculty participate in the educational program, in addition to numerous community physicians.

Emory University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery has developed an immersion opportunity for under-represented minorities, including women and people of color, through an 8-week summer internship program.
