Emory University Hospital Midtown

Emory University Hospital Midtown is a 511-bed acute care teaching hospital in Midtown Atlanta. More than 1,000 private practice and Emory Clinic physicians practice in 28 specialties. Third year residents in the Department of Dermatology participate in a unique inpatient Teledermatology consultative service under the close supervision of attending dermatologists to prepare residents for complex inpatient medical dermatology consultations as they prepare for unsupervised practice after graduation.

Grady Memorial Hospital

Grady Memorial Hospital is one of the largest public hospitals in the Southeast and is an internationally recognized teaching hospital with historic commitment to serving the health needs of the most vulnerable and underserved. Since it opened in 1892, Grady Memorial Hospital has provided quality, comprehensive healthcare in a compassionate, culturally competent, and fiscally responsible manner to residents of metro Atlanta and Georgia.

Grady is noteworthy for Emory–led programs not widely available elsewhere in the region such as a regional burn center and one of the top three HIV/AIDS outpatient clinics in the country. In addition to outpatient adult and pediatric dermatology clinics, residents receive additional training in dermatopathology, dermatologic surgery, and inpatient consultations.

Atlanta VA Medical Center

The Atlanta VA Medical Center is located on the periphery of the Emory campus and is a 500-bed affiliate serving over 400,000 veterans in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Residents rotating through the VA staff outpatient clinics and receive additional training in dermatologic surgery, teledermatology, and inpatient consultations.

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is a 260-bed hospital dedicated to specialized care for infants, children and teens. Egleston Hospital has served as Emory University’s pediatric teaching affiliate since 1956 and is located on the Emory University campus. Emory Dermatology residents participate in pediatric dermatology consultations in the inpatient and emergency department settings as part of the Pediatric Dermatology consult rotation.
