Dr. Rajani joined Emory in 2011 as the inaugural chief of vascular and endovascular surgery at Grady and has been instrumental in growing the service line to its current state. He has led numerous clinical trials at Grady, which have primarily focused on endovascular control of vascular trauma, management of peripheral arterial disease, and novel methods of dialysis access creation. Dr. Rajani has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and serves on the editorial leadership of both the Journal of Vascular Surgery and Annals of Vascular Surgery. He represents Emory on the leadership of multiple national vascular surgical societies.
I look forward to Dr. Rajani’s contributions and have great confidence in his ability to lead our initiatives at Grady. Please join me in welcoming and congratulating Dr. Rajani. Sincerely, Carlos
