Dr. Nagaraju's work mainly focuses on basic as well as translational cancer research. He has published above 40 research papers in several prestigious peer-reviewed journals and presented over 30 abstracts in various conferences. He was also given the Junior Scientist award by the ASIOA. He is a member of four reputable scientific societies in the USA. He serves as an editorial board member and a reviewer of several internationally recognized academic journals. As a leading researcher in the cancer field, Dr. Nagaraju is currently investigating the role of HSP-90 inhibitors, curcumin and its analogues in advanced cancers.
Dr. Nagaraju's research focuses on translational projects related to gastrointestinal malignancies, specifically pancreatic and colorectal cancer, to bring observations derived from in vitro and in vivo models of cancer cell growth to the translational level. Dr. Nagaraju collaborates closely with clinicians in studies that target the HSP90, SPARC and DNMT-1 cell signaling pathways in pancreatic as well as colorectal cancer.
