Dr. Stein graduated from Cornell University Medical University College in 1969, and completed his Internship and Residency training at Duke University Medical Center in 1971. Dr. Stein was the Senior Associate of the Immunology Branch of the National Cancer Institute from 1971 to 1973 (Commissioned Corps USPHS). Dr. Stein also obtained his JD degree from Georgia State University in 1986 and was invited to join the Law Review. Dr. Stein has been actively involved in hematology research and clinical grants since 1977.
Dr. Stein also obtained his JD degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 1986.
Dr. Stein has research interests in hemophilia and related bleeding disorders, including menorrhagia in women with bleeding disorders and disorders of platelet function.
Dr. Stein has been actively involved in hematology translational and clinical research in the area of hemostasis/thrombosis and clinical grants since 1977.
