Dr. Rajni Sinha graduated from St George’s Medical School, University of London, United Kingdom (1999). She served two years in London in internal medicine prior to completing her internship and Residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, University of Pennsylvania Health System. She completed her fellowship from Emory University and served as chief fellow of the Hematology/Oncology fellowship program in 2007.
Dr. Sinha currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Hematology and Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. She is also a member of the Emory Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplant team. She also serves on the Emory University Fellowship Committee and the Clinical Translational Research Committee. She was awarded membership to the American Hematology Society Clinical Research Training Institute, which focuses on clinical trial design and implementation. Her clinical work focuses on specialized care for patients with Non-Hodgkin's and Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Dr. Sinha’s research interests include novel therapies for chronic lymphocytic leukemia and low grade lymphomas.
Dr. Sinha is licensed by the State of Georgia. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology. Dr Sinha is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians, London. Dr. Sinha has authored or co-authored several journal publications and abstracts.
The goal of Dr. Sinha’s research is to continue the development of clinical trials using novel agents for the treatment of both newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory indolent and aggressive lymphomas. Dr. Sinha has devotes time to developing a research program for the treatment of patients with B cell lymphoma. Scientific resources at Emory University allow her to work with new agents in the laboratory and move to them to the bedside in clinical trials for patients with lymphoma.
