Dr. Murali received a Masters in Molecular Biology from NYU in 1998 and an MD from New York Medical College in 2002. She did her residency and fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine and joined the Winship faculty in Medical Oncology in 2008. Dr. Murali is based at Emory University Hospital-Midtown and is the current Section Chief for the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Murali’s primary clinical and research interests are in the field of breast cancer. In addition to a busy clinical practice, she is an active member of the Breast Cancer working group and Principal Investigator on a number of Phase II and Phase III breast cancer trials.

Research Interests

Dr. Murali is an active member of the Breast Cancer working group. She is the Principal Investigator on a number of Phase II and Phase III breast cancer clinical trials and is committed to bringing new and innovative breast cancer trials to Winship.
