Fellows are selected for the program approximately 9-12 months before the start date of July 1; and are chosen on the strength of prior training, demonstrated clinical competence, and potential for an academic career in hematology and medical oncology bench and/or clinical research. We currently have 5 slots available for the July 1, 2013 start date. We are no longer accepting applications for the program beginning July 1, 2012.
Applications are only being accepted through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) starting July 1, 2012 for the July 1, 2013 start date. All applications and supporting materials should be submitted online or mailed to ERAS no later than July 31, 2012. We accept J-1 and H1-B Visas.

Three letters of recommendation from faculty/attending familiar with your current experience (letters should be written within 6 months of your application) are required.
From the total number of applicants with completed files, approximately 40-50 will be invited to come in for a day of interviews with faculty members in the Emory Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology before the final selection of fellows is made. We will start to download completed applications from ERAS on July 15, 2012. We will begin interviewing in August and complete interviews October 2012.
