I had a fascination with the nervous system

  • Most – In addition to the good research opportunities, I like the continuous care of patients and making a difference in their lives. 
  • Least - Some diseases in this specialty do not have good treatments/outcomes.

In your opinion, what attributes are important in anyone choosing this specialty?

Patience – Oftentimes there is no quick fixes to many neurologic diseases.
