Visiting Medical Students

Students who attend other medical schools are welcome to submit a visiting student application for up to two 4-week clinical rotations at Emory School of Medicine. Please refer to the Emory University School of Medicine’s Visiting Student Policy for further information.

M.D. and D.O. Students Currently Attending School in the U.S. and Puerto Rico

MD and DO students attending AAMC Member Medical schools in the United States and Puerto Rico can apply through VSAS.

Please note that a non-refundable $100 application fee, payable through VSAS, will be required. 

If accepted, students must pay an additional registration fee of $200 to Emory University School of Medicine.

M.D. Students Currently Attending International Medical Schools

Students who currently attend an international medical school can apply directly to Emory University School of Medicine using the International Visiting Student Application.

Please note that a non-refundable $500 application fee will be required. 

If accepted, students must pay an additional registration fee of $3000 to Emory University School of Medicine.

Academic Health Students Currently Attending School in the U.S. and Puerto Rico

(Genetic Counseling, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Anesthesiology & Patient Monitoring Systems, Ophthalmic Technology, Medical Imaging)

Academic Health Students in the United States and Puerto Rico can apply directly to Emory University School of Medicine using the Academic Health Visiting Student Application.

A completed clinical affiliation agreement between Emory University School of Medicine and the applicant’s home institution is a requirement.

Please note that a non-refundable $100 application fee will be required.

If accepted, students must pay an additional registration fee of $200 to Emory University School of Medicine.
