TRAVELING BY CAR
From the South and from the Airport:
Take I-85 North to the Clairmont Road exit and turn right onto Clairmont Road ...

From the North:
Take I-85 South to the Clairmont Road exit and turn left onto Clairmont Road …

…continue on Clairmont Road for approximately 4 miles until it intersects with North Decatur Road . Turn right on North Decatur . At the third traffic light, turn right on Clifton Road . Follow the signs to the Visitor Parking Deck located at the Emory Clinic (on your right at the intersection of Lowergate Drive and Clifton Road ). All day parking is $5.00.

To reach the Emory University School of Medicine building, walk back to Clifton Road after you park. Cross Clifton Road, turn right and continue until you reach it at 1648 Pierce Drive, located on the left side of Clifton Road.

From the East:
Take I-20 west to Atlanta . Exit 60, Moreland Avenue North …

From the West:
Take I-20 east to Atlanta . Exit 60-B, Moreland Avenue North …

…turn right on Moreland Avenue and follow it for approximately 3 miles.  (Note that once you cross over Ponce de Leon Avenue , Moreland's street name will change to Briarcliff Road .)  Continue on Briarcliff for about 1 mile to North Decatur Road .  Turn right and follow North Decatur to Clifton Road . Turn left on Clifton Road . Follow the signs to the Visitor Parking Deck located at the Emory Clinic (on your right at the intersection of Lowergate Drive and Clifton Road ). All day parking is $5.00.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE PARK IN AUTHORIZED VISITOR PARKING AREAS ONLY. YOU WILL BE TOWED IF PARKED ILLEGALLY ON CAMPUS GROUNDS.

FROM ATLANTA HARTSFIELD-JACKSON AIRPORT
By Taxi:
Follow the signs to Ground Transportation. Taxi fare from the airport is approximately $35-$40 one-way. School of Medicine building is located at 1648 Pierce Drive off of Clifton Road.

By Shuttle:
Reservations Only. Atlanta Superior Shuttle provides shuttle service to and from the Atlanta Airport . The shuttle will drop you off and pick you up from the campus or major hotels. Advanced reservations are required by calling 770.457.4794. At the airport, follow the signs to Ground Transportation. At the exit door you will see the taxis. Across from the taxis you will see the shuttle buses. Look for Atlanta Superior Shuttle in stalls F11 and F12. The cost from the airport to campus is approximately $20 one-way ($35 round trip), with lower fares depending on your pick-up/drop-off location.

By MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority):
Follow the signs to MARTA near Ground Transportation. Exact change ($1.75) or tokens are required. There are change machines by the MARTA entrance. Take any train northbound to the Lindbergh MARTA station. The train ride from the airport to the Lindbergh station takes approximately 30 minutes. At the Lindbergh station, transfer to the #6-Emory bus.  The bus ride from Lindbergh station to Emory takes approximately 20 minutes. Ask the bus driver to let you off at the corner of Pierce Drive in front of Emory University Hospital. The Emory University School of Medicine is located at 1648 Pierce Drive. Note to those arriving on Sundays : MARTA is not running #6 buses to Emory from the Lindbergh train station on Sundays. If you still choose to take MARTA to Lindbergh, once at Lindbergh you can call a cab (404.351.1111) if there aren’t any there already. The taxi ride to Emory takes approximately 10-15 minutes from the Lindbergh station. Though there are other routes to Emory by MARTA, we do not recommend them as many bus routes only run every 50 minutes – you may have a long wait!
