Sr. Desktop Consultant
I joined the Emory School of Medicine in March 2005 and am a Sr. Desktop Consultant with SOM-ITS. My focus is on delivering superior customer service to the School of Medicine by keeping our desktop-based hardware and applications running efficiently, so our clients can focus on their areas of expertise. I assist with the management of our Service Now ticketing queue and a number of server-related functions including password resetting, computer account creation, remote patch management and print queue management/creation.
I am a resource for Emory technicians and am available to assist with orders for client computers and software. I’m responsible for placement of all Dell warranty support calls and replacement of faulty desktop hardware and software. Assistance with specially configured Windows image creation and management is one of my ongoing projects for the School of Medicine.
I have over 10 years of experience in the IT industry with a focus on client and hardware support and 5 years of experience with retail customer service. I complimented my B.B.A. from Georgia State University with a major in Computer Information Systems and am a Dell Certified Technician (2002 - 2012) and Apple Certified Support Professional (2012). I enjoy movies, football, video games, Mustangs, travel to tropical locales and spending time with my son.
