I joined the Emory School of Medicine in August of 2012 as an IT Business Analyst. In my position, I am responsible for the analysis and assessment of organizational business processes and procedures, documentation of IT system requirements and acting as a liaison between organizational stakeholders and the School of Medicine Information Technology Services application development team. Our goal is to ensure the mission of the school is carried out in relation to its information technology needs.
I have over 15 years of experience working in the field information technology as a business analyst. I have worked in all facets of software development implementation including business and systems analysis, quality assurance, project management and product support, using Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies for the CDC and private industry. I have a BS in Information Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University and have certifications in Business Process Management and am a Certified Scrum Master. I am currently, working towards earning a Masters of Public Health degree here at Emory. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as playing golf.
