I joined the Emory School of Medicine in July 2013 as an IT Project Manager. My focus is to manage the implementation of various IT application development projects for the SOM program and to provide technical solutions and support for existing SOM applications. The goal is to ensure that the information technology needs are met for all faculty, staff, residents and students at the SOM.
I am a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 16 years of experience and proven success in program and project management using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. I’ve worked in diverse fields throughout the years, including IT consulting, telecommunications and education. I have a BS in Mathematics from Spelman College and a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. I also have an MBA from Georgia State University with a concentration in Decision Sciences. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering in community organizations and traveling to new and exciting places.
