  • TRIP is a meta-search engine which searches 25 highly reliable databases including several critically appraised topic (CAT) databases, clinical guideline sites, and systematic review collections. We highly suggest this site as a starting point when searching the "secondary" literature. Refer to the TRIP site for a list and links to individual databases. 
    We have left most of them off our list of secondary links.

  • This meta-search site accesses Bandolier and the Cochrane database. 
    Both are included in TRIP.
  • CPMCNet contains articles relevant to diagnosisincludes clinical guidelines
  • CPMCNet, from Columbia University, provides comprehensive reviews and guidelines concerning screening and preventive health testing.
  • CPG Infobaseincludes clinical guidelines

  • A large collection of clinical guidelines from the Canadian Medical Association. Compliments The National Guideline Clearing House
  • Journal Club On The Web contains articles relevant to diagnosiscontains articles relevant to therapycontains articles relevant to harm

  • Excellent critical assessments and commentary. Topics are relevant mainly for IM and Ambulatory Care, some acute care materials can be found.  Worth a look.
  • National GuidelineClearing House: includes clinical guidelines
  • Provides over 400 guidelines (AHCPR and other sources). 
    Allows you to perform side-by-side comparisons of guidelines from different sources.
